Natalia Olejniczak  // Honours Student 2024

Graphic design and illustration are the core of my practice, although I have always been interested in the other aspects of communication design, from film to photography. The multidisciplinary nature of my design practice has led me to explore different areas of design, which keeps me engaged and excited in my practice!

I enjoy using physical print and mark-making techniques in my work as I believe this brings my work alive. Combining digital and physical techniques within my practice allows me to express my creativity. This semester I have explored this through risograph printing for a tea packaging project.

I believe that as a designer I should use my skills to spread positivity and raise awareness about certain topics. My main project this year will focus on raising awareness about toxic diet culture and teaching people how to build a better relationship with food.
